RAVIN SOLO

RAVIN SOLO

It was a cold November morning that I met up with Rez at 0700. After about 30 minutes of pattern work and some uneventful landings, he asked me to pull over and shut off the engine. He then asked me if I was ready to "do this" alone. To which I replied "absolutely" as my heart rate began to rise. Once I got airborne, everything felt automatic and after the first landing I felt completely at ease.

After a "congratulations" from ATC and Reza reminding me to retract flaps as I taxied back for takeoff #2 (yes he is on the radio listening to your fist solo) the rest of the morning was a breeze.
